Our Ingredients:


Ice Cream Base
We start every flavor with a 16% butterfat, all-natural ice cream base made from award-winning dairy produced by a co-op of family owned dairies in Upstate New York, Mercer's Dairy. These families do not use growth hormones on their cows, nor do they use antibiotics (unless an individual cow's health is at risk).

Inclusions
We use locally made inclusions, like our baklava (Victory Sweet Shop) and biscotti (Rose & Joe's Italian Bakery) whenever possible. We are always looking for more local places to work with!

All Natural or Not?!
Some flavors are and some are not. Each all-natural flavor is clearly labeled as such on our pints as of this April. We were actually surprised to find that there is no FDA standard for natural status, it's self governed by the food industry. As per our nutritional guy, there are some obvious non-natural ingredients in some flavors that disqualify them from being labeled all-natural. They are:

• hydrogenated oils
• potassium sorbate
• artificial baklava flavoring

Please be assured these ingredients are minimal (mostly a small part of an inclusion-which is a small part of the overall product). We always strive for all-natural solutions! As a small, self-funded company we are mostly inhibited by the large minimum orders required to purchase these ingredients! But we're growing, so this will be changing!
